Atura Power received $4.1 million from the Ontario government to fund Canada’s largest electricity-based, grid-connected, low-carbon hydrogen blending project to date.
The DOE’s investment will launch seven Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs across the U.S., accelerating the deployment of clean hydrogen, supporting energy security goals, combating the climate crisis, and creating thousands of jobs.
The Ontario government announced the first recipients of funding through the Hydrogen Innovation Fund. The investment will support projects aiming to expand the use of hydrogen as a clean alternative fuel.
Alberta Government will provide $45 million to support new hydrogen technologies for production, transmission, distribution, and storage in commercial and industrial sectors.
