EverWind NL Company, Exploits Valley Renewable Energy Corporation, Toqlukuti’k Wind and Hydrogen Ltd., and World Energy GH2 will be receiving Wind Application Recommendation Letters, allowing them to pursue the development of their project through the NL government.
The scheme will support renewable hydrogen production and increase the country’s electrolysis capacity, contributing to efforts to reduce emissions and achieve climate neutrality. It also supports the EU Hydrogen Strategy, European Green Deal, and REPowerEU Plan.
Vortex and RESPEC completed hydrogen storage assessments of the East and West Salt Structures at the Robinsons River Salt Project, finding a combined potential capacity of up to 800,000 tonnes within more than 60 caverns.
The companies were selected to supply electrolyzers (Plug Power), Hydrogen Refueling Stations (Fabrum), and construction contracting (Wasco Australia) for Countrywide Hydrogen’s green hydrogen projects in Tasmania, AU.
Channel Infrastructure and Fortescue Future Industries will work together to progress the Sustainable Aviation Fuel project into the next phase. This will include engineering and design studies and further exploring the economic viability of the project.
